CoD 4 is a brilliant game, put simply.
The campaign is well detailed and extremely immersive. The first
mission is a boat raid, in which you must secure some papers. After
this, it is the credits. The
credits are well done, as you see throught the eyes of the President,
on his march to death. The second mission is where you must capture
Al-Asad, though this is harder than it first seems. Online though, is
taking it to a whole new level. You progress throught the ranks like on
any other shooter, however, as you rank up, you get better guns. Lets
take an MP5 for example. 50 kills gets you a red dot scope, 100 kills
gets you a silencer, 150 gets you a ACOG scope. You have secondary
abilities called perks. These range from gaining a Rocket Propelled
Grenade (RPG) to dropping a grenade
when killed. As you rank up, more weapons become available. Again, lets
use the MP5. To begin with you get an MP5, then a Skorpion, a
Mini-Uzi, a AK-47u and finally a P90. You get to create-a-class, in
which you choose primary and
secondary weapons.
